斗六市公所與雲林科技大學合作的「大衛嬉遊斗六繪本插畫展」將於6月11日—6月30日在斗六市立繪本圖書館展出，歡迎市民前往參觀。

來自英國的大衛老師，居住於斗六純樸小鎮十餘年，喜歡騎著摩托車逛遍斗六的大街小巷。透過外國人的角度來深入觀察斗六的各種面向，從市民生活中重要的吃、喝、玩、藝文、農產及環境等面向納入繪本。有別於台灣在地人不同的觀點，記錄下斗六特色景點，並以手繪方式來呈現斗六的美，貼近民眾生活並製作成英文互動教學電子書，除了增加英文學習的教材多元性外，讓在地民眾更深刻地瞭解身處在斗六這片溫暖土地，尋找身處在自己身邊的小小幸福，深入瞭解斗六在地特色。
