我與美國馬里蘭州簽署相互承認汽車駕照協定

【何哲欣／台北報導】外交部今說，我駐美代表金溥聰於本（6）月17日代表我國與美國馬里蘭州車輛管理處（Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration，MVA）處長郭大山（John Kuo）簽署相互承認汽車駕駛執照互惠協定。外交部說，據此協定，即日起，具有美國合法居留身分及馬州居住證明的國人，均可持有效的我國B類普通小型車駕照至馬州車輛管理處免試申領該州的C類汽車駕照（Full License Class C）。

外交部說，基於互惠原則，取得我國居留證且居留期限超過1年的馬州有效C類駕照持有人，自入境我國次日起1年內亦可免試申領我國B類小型車普通駕照。外交部強調，將賡續推動我國駐美各辦事處積極與美國各州聯繫洽簽類似互惠協定，以進一步促進兩國民間交流。
