美國政府拍賣比特幣專家：暴跌前處理掉

美國政府27日開始拍賣一批比特幣，在虛擬貨幣界掀起風潮。這些比特幣是聯邦調查局在調查網路黑市「絲路」網路時沒收的。

聯邦法警處這次共拍賣2萬9000個比特幣，現值大約1700萬元，不過，比特幣價值波動很大。參與投標者必須在上周登記，用銀行轉帳提供20萬元保證金，投標時間在美東時間27日下午5時截止。得標者將在30日接到通知。

美國當局還有另一批超過14萬4000個比特幣，使華府可能成為這種引起爭議的網路貨幣最大的所有者。比特幣是由一種電腦程式創造的，生產數量有限，而且背後沒有任何政府或中央銀行支撐。

專家表示，美國政府拍賣比特幣，並不表示認可這種虛擬貨幣的價值，只是想趕在其價格再度暴跌之前處理掉手上的資產。
