Alex Rodriguez會被禁賽多少場？50、65、100、200場、還是終身禁賽？他的律師David Cornwell放話，目標是全身而退，不必禁賽。

Cornwell何許人也？他曾在兩年前，幫釀酒人隊Ryan Braun申訴成功，躲過禁賽。不過今年Braun又牽扯禁藥案時，接受65場禁賽，沒找Cornwell幫忙。

但A-Rod找上門。Cornwell大方透露策略，主打「禁藥診所」負責人Anthony Bosch、以及爆料的前職員Porter Fischer，兩人的誠信。今年禁藥風波之所以如此轟轟烈烈，就是因為Fischer爆料給邁阿密新時報。

「A-Rod目前重點在於重回大聯盟，」Cornwell說，「他上次在大聯盟出賽，都已經快一年了。現在他手術成功，無論打多少場模擬賽、復健賽，都比不上在大聯盟的實戰。這就是A-Rod現在的最重點。」

剛過38歲生日的A-Rod，一度接近復出，卻又因為四頭肌拉傷，延後重回大聯盟的日期。如果復健順利，A-Rod可能在美國時間8月6日復出，客場出戰白襪隊。 (接下一頁)
