英國一項調查發現，55%受訪者曾就屋內溫度與伴侶發生爭執，其中男性往往因為擔心電費太高，傾向調低暖爐溫度：相反，由於女性對溫度變化非常敏感，出現手腳冰冷的機會也較男性高出9倍，所以通常希望調高溫度，結果與另一半吵架。35%受訪者更從來不會就此伴侶示弱而作出讓步。

調查同時指出，受訪者普遍認為讓兩性最舒適的溫度是攝氏22度。因此，假如與另一半經常為室溫吵架，不妨把室溫調整為22度，看看大家的關係會不會好轉起來。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
