人倫悲劇台灣留學生勒死母親

（中央社記者吳協昌洛杉磯4日專電）洛杉磯驚傳台灣留學生意外勒死自己母親的悲劇，洛杉磯警局證實1名來自台灣的留學生，在公寓內與母親發生爭吵，將母親勒死。

駐洛杉磯台北經濟文化辦事處已在第一時間提供協助。

洛杉磯市警局指出，這起案件發生在美西時間1日晚間，這名來自台灣的留學生，在公寓內與持旅遊簽證前來探親的母親發生爭執，在爭執過程中失手將母親勒死。目前這名台灣留學生已經被收押。

駐洛杉磯台北經濟文化辦事處則表示，在得知消息的第一時間，已經提供家屬必要的協助，如果家屬還需要其他的幫助，經文處也會全力協助。

洛杉磯警局表示，目前案件仍在調查中，待進一步的了解。1040204
