廟內打雜缺錢花用　偷取香油錢獲判緩刑

新北市周姓男子家住媽祖廟附近，因常到廟內走動，於是便作義工協助處理廟內雜事，周男缺錢花用，將歪腦筋動到媽祖廟，去年5月底下午，趁大殿無人看守之際，搬起香油錢桶上下倒置，並敲擊香油桶，取走桶內紙鈔，得手3千元，除了用來買菸酒飲用外，還買火車票返回南部老家，花用一空，隔天上午，媽姐廟主委發現香油桶內只有幾百元，且香油桶有被移動的情形，察覺有異，趕緊報警處理，警方調閱監視器，發現周姓義工偷竊行為，俟周男返回新北市時通知到案，周男向檢方表示，他有重度精神障礙，因為精神不好，想抽菸及吃飯，才會去偷錢，檢方調查，周男偷竊時，並無精神恍忽情況，依竊盜罪起訴，聲請簡易判決；法官考量周男坦承犯行，素行尚稱良好，且廟方同意給予自新機會，不再追究，判處拘役25天，或25,000元罰金，暫不執行，予以緩刑2年。（蔡進男／基隆報導）
