冬季冰風暴達拉斯機場取消數百航班

猛烈冬季冰風暴今天迫使達拉斯-沃斯堡國際機場（Dallas/Fort WorthInternational Airport）取消數百個航班，這個重要運輸樞紐已覆蓋逾2英寸積雪。

法新社報導，機場發表聲明說，截至當地時間今天上午9時30分，達拉斯-沃斯堡國際機場已取消超過350個航班，占每日航班總數約35%。

聲明又說，自昨天以來，機場已覆蓋超過2英寸積雪和薄冰，迫使工作人員出動除雪車和剷雪機，以維持機場運作。

天候狀況可望於今天稍後改善。就旅客流量而言，達拉斯-沃斯堡國際機場是全球第3繁忙機場，每年進出旅客達6200萬人次，每日約有1850個航班在此機場起降。
