嘉藥大學以4比5遭到台灣體大逆轉，在大專盃以第8名坐收，先發投手方念宇在賽後自責說到：「要是第8局沒有想太多，說不定比賽有轉機。」

方念宇前7局投完被敲5支安打，僅丟1分，不過第8局遭遇亂流，面對6名人次，奉送2次保送、遭敲2安，失掉2分、皆為責失，讓台體追至僅剩1分差。

「第8局領先，我怕自己體力不夠，一時想太多，球最後都投不進去，找不到自己節奏。」方念宇說。

儘管球隊是因守護神林柏賢上場放火輸掉比賽，不過方念宇認為，領先情況下給予自己太大壓力，造成得失心太重，球隊輸球，自己也有責任。

嘉藥最後因9局下林柏賢保送連發、被敲再見安輸球，方念宇坦言有些可惜，但全隊都盡力了，不必責怪隊友。

上次先發是預賽對戰開南大學，方念宇投2局、失3分退場，這次找回手感，成功壓制對方打線，他認為是曲球發揮有效攻擊。
