免稅措施奏效赴日遊客支出增五成

日本觀光當局30日發布資料顯示，赴日的外國遊客在去年第4季（10月至12月）支出大增52%至5,605億日圓（47億美元），創2010年10月有調查以來的單季最高紀錄，主因是政府將外國遊客的消費稅免稅項目擴大，從原先的家電產品與服飾擴及食品、飲料與日常用品，帶來正面效益。

日經新聞報導，中國遊客上季在日本支出1,429億日圓，占總支出的25%；台灣遊客支出949億日圓，占比達17%，南韓遊客支出達610億日圓，占比達11%。

日本國家旅遊局指出，上季外國遊客人數較一年前成長40%至367萬人，但他們的支出大幅增加，主要因擴大免稅銷售，刺激消費。

10月至12月的一季通常是遊客較少的淡季，但今年的支出卻比7月至9月的旅遊旺季多出100億日圓。以2014年全年來看，外國遊客支出累計達2.03兆日圓，較2013年高出43%。
