隱私政策模糊谷歌進行調整

（路透巴黎30日電）搜尋引擎巨擘谷歌（Google）同意在用戶個人資料處理方法上，改善告知政策。谷歌作出改變，主因英國資料保護監管單位調查發現，谷歌隱私政策太模糊。

英國資訊委員會辦公室（ICO）今天在聲明中表示，要求谷歌簽署「正式承諾書」，6月30日前將進行調整，未來2年內會有進一步行動。

谷歌因同意改善政策所以英國不會罰錢，相反地，法國和西班牙監管單位除了要求調整政策外，還對谷歌開罰。

谷歌接受英國監管單位的決定，並表示已同意改善隱私政策。

1名谷歌發言人表示：「我們很開心ICO決定結束調查。」

谷歌2012年3月採取新措施，將約70項現有的隱私政策整合成1項後，谷歌和歐洲資料保護監管單位之間展開角力。

谷歌也開始匯整從YouTube、Gmail和社群網站Google+等個別用戶蒐集的資料，讓用戶沒有退出的餘地。中央社（翻譯）
