絞刑台上逃過死劫奈國男子獲釋

美聯社報導，奈及利亞一名死刑犯在絞刑台上逃過一場死劫，並在蹲死牢19年後，於本月24日獲釋。

54歲的艾布霍斯（Thankgod Ebhos）去年6月被拖上絞刑台，眼看4名囚犯被絞死後，因監獄官發現他是由軍事法庭判刑，且是判處槍決，而未對他行刑。

人權律師以他是軍事獨裁統治下，遭到不公平審判與刑求的受害人，為他提出上訴。

西非國家經濟共同體的法院6月裁決艾布霍斯應獲釋；國際特赦組織表示他已在24日重獲自由之身。
